Senior Draftsman

About the Job

As a Senior Draftsman you are responsible for constructing and detailing machine parts or constructions of various assets on a mechanical and civil area. From sketch to the detailed drawings.

This includes, among other things: collecting the information, selecting compatible components, determining the dimensions (possibly “in the field”) and tolerances and detailing the as-built drawings with CAD-system parts lists. Choosing the right materials is also part of the package. You are also responsible for keeping the entire drawing package and parts lists up to date.

Job requirements

• MBO + working and thinking level;
• Minimum of 10 years work experience, preferably in crane construction, dredging, maritime or offshore technology
• Proficiency in Dutch and English communication skills;
• Experience with engineering tools (3D-CAD, FEM). Solid Edge is an advantage;
• Knowledge of mechanically and electrically driven systems is an advantage;
