All Terrain CPT Trucks

The Geomil heavy duty CPT trucks are specially designed for conducting high quality CPT(U) soundings under various operation constraints.

All base truck units, being of 4x4 or 6x6 all-wheel drive, are ballasted according to the desired reaction force (reaching from 120 kN to 200 kN). They allow for swift and economic road movement as well as for quick location change on site and in moderately soft terrains.

The truck’s main chassis frame is reinforced by an additional sub-chassis, able to bear the maximum loads of up to 460 kN while pulling a CPT string. Four leveling jacks ensure for horizontal positioning and full spring tension release.

The Geomil 200 kN twin ram pusher is mounted in the centre of gravity, as such utilizing the full truck ballast for the reaction force while keeping the total weight at a minimum.

For providing utmost working comfort at highest safety levels the working cabins comprise the well known Geomil features. Electric valve sections for all hydraulic consumers, 19" industrial control rack with modern PLC control of all functions, tube rack with swivel supports, bellows with transparent roof, Radio-CD and more are standard.

Further options like hydraulic winch, Diesel heater, electric or hydraulic air-con, camera positioning assistant, automatic leveling control, hydraulic push-/pull clamp and more make every unit custom made.

Unique purpose truck versions, whether for desert climate use, dual-way railroad and terrain operations or customized units like for combined CPT and UXO investigations, are Geomil’s unsurpassed specials.

In principle Geomil can convert any base truck into a valuable CPT truck.
