Geomil's 200 kN Stand Alone Penetrometer Pusher is a versatile twin ram unit with 1 350 mm stroke, 200 kN push and 260 kN pull force. Its designed to be used in a wide range of applications. The special mounting beam allows for placing the penetrometer on any base, like a solid steel skid, stabilized truck platform, excavator lowers, a jack-up platform or floating barge.

The increased working space between the two cylinders eases tube handling and operation. The solid push-/pull bridge, connecting the piston protection covers, allows for using all Geomil push-/pull clamps for electrical CPT(U) as well as measuring heads for mechanical CPT.

The hydraulic catching clamp, integrated in the sounding beam, forms a must for over water operations or when doing soundings in very weak soils.

The penetrometer pusher is hydraulically powered by a separate powerpack, driven by a Hatz Silentpack diesel engine. The complete unit is built-in in a heavy duty framework, providing a robust unit and allowing easy transport by crane or forklift.


Penetrometer and powerpack are connected by means of a set of hydraulic hoses with quick-couplings.
