SC(1-15)-DAC is a highly configurable data acquisition software package which communicates with the BCE SCPT signal conditioning board and a notebook based PCMCIA A/D card. The SCPT systems can be expanded up to 15 channels (30 channels if two A/D board are used), but typically uniaxial (SC1-DAC), biaxial (SC2-DAC), triaxial (SC3-DAA), and true interval six channel systems (SC6-DAA) are assembled. | ||||

SC(1-15)-RAV general comes in the uniaxial (SC1-RAV) and triaxial (SC3-RAV) versions. SC3-RAV can be used to process any data acquired with triaxial configured probes (eg., SC6-DAC). It is also possible to obtain a biaxial analysis package (SC2-RAV).
The SC(1-15)-RAV software packages allow the investigator to process and visualize the acquired seismic cone data so that interval velocities and attenuation values are obtained. SC(1-15)-RAV provides graphical analysis interface so that the user can review frequency spectra to identify dominant responses. The user then specifies the necessary cascadable low pass, high pass, notch, and bandpass zero phase shift digital filters to implement on the data so that the desired event (P-wave or S-wave) is isolated.
In SC(1-15)-RAV interval velocities are obtained by implementing a patented optimized cross correlation algorithm. In addition, the standard reverse polarity technique can be used. Seismic data can also be processed in Batch mode and with the FMDSM technique.
Once the data has been processed, the user can graphically display the derived interval velocities.
