The portable unit is designed for testing all GeoMil compression and subtraction cones, 10 cm2 and 15 cm2 for cone resistance (qc) and local sleeve friction (fs) output. It can be used as a stand-alone unit as well as in combination with a GME-500 data acquisition system.
For checking the pore-pressure element of piezocones an extra load-cell/pressure transducer can optionally be supplied.
